Where to have a sunset drink before dinner: If you want to keep it cheap and casual, head to The Boat Basin Cafe on the Hudson River at 79th Street. If you want something more elegant, have a cocktail at Tavern On The Green in Central Park.
Where to have an incredible BYOB Tuscan dinner: Grab a bottle of vino from Corner Wine and Liquor Store on West 86th and Columbus and snag one of the 5 tables at the Upper West Side’s best-kept secret—Spiga (To Go) on West 84th Street. If you have to wait a few minutes for a table, enjoy a glass of my new favorite red wine and chat with the owner Luigi to see what he recommends that evening. The crowd is friendly, the locals bring their own candles and there’s often a sexy Italian in the corner playing the guitar. You can also grab your food to-go and enjoy a candlelight picnic in Central Park. Check out my favorite 9-inch portable candle lantern that makes every meal magical.
How to get downtown AND work off that pasta: Grab a Citi-Bike from 85th and Central Park West or 83rd and Columbus and enjoy a moonlit ride through Central Park and then down the bike line on 2nd Avenue. A 24-hour pass is $12 and totally worth it in this lovely weather.
Where to enjoy FREE live music and dancing in a ridiculously sexy (and air-conditioned) basement: Join violin virtuoso and should-be male model Andrei Matorin @MatorinMusic as he leads some of NYC’s most incredible musicians through 3 groovy hours of live music in the gorgeous basement lounge of Esther and Carol on Broome Street from 8:30pm-11:30. Wear comfortable shoes and get ready to get down with sexy strangers from all over the world.
Where To Invite Sexy Strangers For A Date Next Saturday Night: You know where.
