Enjoy live music, craft cocktails and hot people under the bridge at Loosie Rouge
This Brooklyn gem under the Williamsburg Bridge is intimate, eclectic and SEXY, with live music and awesome DJs several nights a week. Dress to impress and arrive early to snag a spot at the downstairs bar. Offer a stranger a drink and maybe they’ll invite you to join them for an elevated Southern soul food experience in the tiny restaurant upstairs. Reservations recommended if dining is a definite desire. The crowd is age 25-40, mostly New Yorkers or visiting musicians from around the world and average price for a craft cocktail is $12. Eat the best tacos in NYC and sip the cheapest REAL margaritas in Manhattan at Taqueria St. Mark’s
There’s a few reasons you’ll wait up to an hour on a weekend to snag a table at this charming dive bar and taqueria on East St. Mark’s. Owned by a Mexican couple from LA, they make everything on the menu from scratch and nothing costs more than $15. The tacos are $3.50 each and two will fill you up, the margaritas are always $8 and made from fresh lime juice and good tequila, and the menu has plenty of options for vegans and vegetarians. Friday night they have Chile Rellenos to die for. They don’t take reservations, so put your name on the list, grab a bowl of FREE chips and homemade salsa and strike up a conversation with that NYU undergrad or E.R. doctor from Mount Sinai. The crowd is diverse, aged 18-80, locals and tourists and average price for an amazing margarita is EIGHT FUCKING DOLLARS.

3. Snag a PLAYERS seat at Never Sleep Alone at Joe’s Pub on 4/27
My interactive comedy show and dating event at Joe’s Pub has been voted THE BEST PLACE TO MEET SINGLES 5 years in a row! Be adventurous, sit in the front and I will hook you up with an onstage date, some free champagne and tried and tested tips on how to seduce sexy strangers at the after-party. Couples welcome, it makes a great date night, and those in monogamous relationships should take a VOYEURS seat in the back. It’s a midnight show, so enjoy an amazing meal at Indochine, Lafayette or Taqueria St. Marks beforehand. The crowd is a mix of hetero and LGBTQ locals and tourists of all ages, and the average price for a drink is $15. It’s worth it. Wear something that will arouse the curiosity and desire of everyone you meet. Tickets for the April 27th show are HERE.
4. Drink vodka like a Russian and dance the night away at Anyway Cafe
Step into this tiny Vodka bar/restaurant/live music micro dance hall on East 2nd street and you’ll step into another world. The ceiling is made of plants, Oksana tells the best stories, Natasha sings along with the crazy bands she finds in her travels and beautiful Omar keeps your glass full and your heart happy. You’ll make Insta-friends and meet long lost lovers as you swap tall tales over carafes of infused vodkas of every flavor. Order some potato pancakes so you don’t get fall-down drunk, and if you come after midnight, be prepared to stay until dawn. The crowd is exotic, erotic and ready to dance and average price for a drink is $8.00. Cash only. Tip well and you’ll be rewarded.

5. Put up with the douchery for a night of debauchery at The Beatrice Inn
Yes, it’s expensive. Yes, it’s a haven for Hollywood wanna-bes and duck-faced bottle-serviced blondes who REALLY need to learn how to walk in those Jimmy Choo’s–but damn it’s delicious. The candles are perfectly placed, the music is incredible, the service is impeccable, the meat is awesome, the bartenders are EXCELLENT, and authentic and interesting New Yorkers still go there. Go alone with no expectations, write a letter or read a great book at the bar, enjoy that $38 burger and try not to arch your ass up to the sky like Elio in Call Me By Your Name when Armie Hammer offers to buy you a drink. Crowd is attractive, affluent and adventurous people age 25-45 and the average price for a perfectly chilled glass of Champagne is $25.
6. Go to anything at House Of Yes
Don’t ask. Just go. You can also skip the show and enjoy the bar and backyard, but WHY would you do that? Crowd is a mix of straight and LGBTQ people of all ages, shapes and sizes. Crazy costumes highly recommended. Book in advance HERE.

7. Party like a Neapolitan on Friday Nights at Ribalta
This amazing bar and upscale pizzeria is owned by two hot and hilarious best friends from Naples, Italy. Every other Friday night they host a party from 10pm-2am featuring live music, awesome drink specials and horny Italians fresh off the boat. Wear comfortable shoes, channel your inner Sophia Loren or Marcello Mastroianni and get your ass on the dance floor. Crowd is mostly hetero and mostly Italian ages 25-55. Call ahead to secure a table and tell them La Dottoressa Alex sent you. Send me a receipt of a NEW COPY of my book, and I’ll buy you an Aperol Spritz there one night.
8. Slurp free oysters at “Shuck Work Wednesdays” at Arlo SoHo
Every Wednesday from 5–7pm you’ll get 3 free oysters with every drink at the downstairs Liqour Bar at this sexy new boutique hotel in West SoHo.
